Mayson, can you be more specific? What has happened to them? Gmail: I can't think of anything negative that's happened to Gmail in recent times (unless you didn't like the UI redesign - there are certainly mixed opinions on that), and certa

I've been using XMonad in a dual-monitor setup since I started working at Google in January... haven't had any problems with it. My general (rough) impression from walking around the New York office is that about one fifth of engineers here

Thanks camiller, I misread the post I was replying to. In that case, my response is that that sounds awfully paranoid. Earning and maintaining our users' trust is far more valuable to us than stealing some hypothetical secret business data

What are you talking about? Users have complete control over who they share their documents with in Drive. How is it 'evil' to provider a better UI for what people can already do (email documents to one another)?

This is only a major issue if you are in the US. Here in Australia, as well as in Canada & most of Western Europe, universal health care is a lot closer to reality. Perhaps that's part of the reason why more than half the people at Sydn

It's time to let go and trust the developers of the software you're using to know when updates are stable, or when you really need a critical bug or security fix (if you don't trust them, why are you running their software anyway?). Package
