Made me wonder what would happen if some rogue Google engineer decided to replace the CDN hosted jQuery on thousands of sites with script to auto-play a rick-roll.

At the risk of being labelled an Apple 'fanboi', let me play devil's advocate here. What if I created an SDK for developers that had a sign-up system linking to a new storage solution I had created called Dropboxplus.ru. In any app using th

Nice presentation and looks to have real promise, but the source output looks just as bad as WordPress (unless it is just the Developer Tools). I see spans with inline CSS, empty divs and br's all over the place. It doesn't look very clean

Wow, all I can say is fuck Google, three passes in as many weeks is to much for me. The golden child has surely now turned to rust.

It doesn't go back, it actually deletes the page from the internet. Since the page has been trashed, the only logical result is to take you back one history state. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

I don't see anyone here arguing he should not be paid for his work, that would be a preposterous position to take and I am not sure where you are reading this. The problem I have with his math logic is that it could actually hurt genuine ar

I would always take the side of a photographer who has his/her photos misused/abused, but this is just illogical reasoning. If a grocery store has a loaf of bread stolen, it is not worth the value of the entire business.

Yeah, I can see your point about early adopters. From what I understand though it is still happening today with ICS. Just look at the Samsung S, not even 2 years old and it can't (or won't) run it. Users have to go the CyanoGen route, which

Thanks. I looked at the HN page you linked, but it doesn't seem to have any 'official' clarification about it. I already tried doing Google searches but nothing that comes up really explains why this pagination design has been chosen or why

Was the box pre-ticked? If so this is disgusting behaviour, how many users are going to just click OK without paying attention? They must be getting seriously desperate, which at least is a good sign the backlash has seriously got their att

Ah, so you are a poor African villager then? It's good to have you weigh-in on the discussion. We here in the first world are mostly ignorant and think that people in the third world only expect shitty technology with no updates.

I was unfortunate enough to own one of the first Android devices, the HTC Magic (aka MyTouch3G). This was prior to, and also one of the first victims of, Android fragmentation. The process of discovering who was responsible for updates was

Signed up and looks awesome! I like the credit system and the fast interface. Will wait until you add some more TLDs before registering any domains however. I hope that you will be adding .co to the available TLDs. Will also be sure to prov

What I have found as a designer/developer is that usability trumps design, and users I have worked with prefer having large, readable text and buttons as well as plenty of white space. 90% of what a web design should be is about the content

While this is a good way to test drive the service, the 3 free apps are only going to work for extremely lightweight apps (20mb database for example) and does not include a custom domain (this costs $5p/m). Without a custom domain it is obv
