Works better in plain sunlight and with barcode scanners I assume. Pretty much any apps showing a barcode sets your phone on full brightness.

It's more than web discussions. People only care about American politics and controversies even in places that don't speak English.

Last time I tried Tunnelbroker, it caused major performance issues. Not sure it's a good thing for VoIP calls.

As much as I tried to believe in Asus' reputation in the past 20 years, I'm pretty much done with them. 2 of 2 mainboards (TUF and Maximus series) with random reboot issues, 1 of 2 GPUs with firmware issues causing BSODs, 1 of 2 r

Wow, I haven't ordered from Mouser in years honestly, if I remember correctly, they had started using $60+ FedEx services for international shipping for a while. Mostly for hobby use, it's a mix between Digi-Key and Newark for me.

Whenever I've needed AWS support it was just as aweful as GCP. For example, 12 hour Aurora outage, support was only replying a generic "waiting for engineering team" answer, SLA only refund about $15 although we ended up payi

Except for ISPs. Whenever a major website goes down, people blame their ISPs. When their own provider goes down, they don't remember which one they use and blame every other one in their region as well.

You can find the Annapurna Labs AL73400 (Graviton 1st gen) in some devices, but I'm not sure you can easily install your own OS.

Last time I tried it, it was using sshfs mounts. Way slower than whatever Docker Desktop is using. Looks like sshfs is now unmaintained, I can't find what they're using now.

802.1x only authenticates devices, there's no encryption whatsoever past that point. You'd need MACsec or a VPN connection to prevent tapping.

I've had good experience with Accell cables so far, they're usually well rated and have proper certification. They do sell HBR3 cables, but nothing more than an announcement for UHBR cables. EDIT: Club3D is also one of the rare br
