I was wondering the same thing. I have been considering the Librem 14 and it looks like a great option. Would be useful to hear thoughts on it relative to the other models in the poll.

The comparison is based on number of enabled vehicles and not on a mile-for-mile basis.

I think everybody knows that you can’t solve emotional/spiritual problems with such things as “hundred dollar bills”, “blackjack”, or “hookers”. In fact those things just make matters worse. But it seems often forgotten. This comment h

VPNs in general are a scam. To be clear, I mean the big VPNs that advertise themselves as helping with privacy are actually a scam. There are obviously some situations and use-cases where using a VPN makes sense (e.g. geo-shifting), but a

Agreed that the statement would become incorrect if this outcome happens. Nevertheless, at the moment I believe the statement to be accurate.

I agree that - on its face at least - the platform is probably in violation. My point was just that I don't think the TS terms that Mastodon quotes in its blog post are incorrect.

Are the quoted terms actually incorrect or in violation of the license? >all source code ... are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws That's correct isn't it? The mastod

And what is the benefit of that?

That is true actually. Seems silly but it's actually a serious benefit! The main issue with fission is that people have become irrational about it. Maybe we get a fresh start with fusion.

I used to be so excited about fusion, but then I actually learned more about it. Perhaps I'm missing something, but the benefits over fission seem underwhelming. It's about the same cost on a per-megawatt basis. Modern fission pla

This comment will probably be heavily downvoted, but I don't think this sort of thing is helpful at all. Our civilisation is extremely dependent on fossil fuels. Without this industry we would be unable to adequately feed ourselves, he

Exactly. Copilots are fully-capable pilots who frequently take full control of the plane. It's not an appropriate analogy at all.

I am still using it too. The BBC article is about as clear as mud, and I doubt that the person who wrote it even understood the story.

By this argument, it is also impossible to separate DNS from Yarvin’s ideology, since that has a practically identical hierarchical system.
