Yes. Mostly North American, but also UK ones. Older cities definitely have more history to explore (our town had medieval fortress and original Ancient Greek colony ruins). But quality of life matters more. This is the defining charasterist

It was definitely a good idea! But they ran out of good ideas very quickly after that, apparently.

I remember several years ago SoftBank has purchased ARM Holdings and everyone commented on that as a "smart money" move. Where are those smarts now?

This is something I invented many years ago, I even wrote a basic implementation in C#, but it was not suitable for large-scale simulations.

There is an intriguing variety of Conway's Life I want to find some time to work on: - At any given time each alive cell has a probability to go into the dead state, at 0.01 or lower per iteration - equivalent of "entropy") -

I can assure you that PFD (primary flight display) interfaces are very much safety-critical. And they will be touch interfaces.

Too late! Boeing 777-X will have touch screen interfaces for pilots. Personally, I think information display can and should use touch interface, but actions should be tied to physical switches or buttons.

Right now we have no satellites of our own, but later in 2020 we will get a limited level of access to one satellite from ESA. Come 2021, we will get our own satellite in orbit. Will you be able to 'geofence' your code? Yes, absol

Yes for cameras. No to 24/7 monitoring for quite a long while - need a really large constellation for that (think Starlink/OneWeb scale).

A few solid cases are: - space-qualification for the satellite control software. You need to test your own flight software in space, so you use our satellite platform to run test/validation and then reuse on your own satellite. - space

Ah no, cubesats use a different definition of "1U" which is a 10x10x10 cm cube (1L volume). So a 3U satelitte will be 30x10x10 cm box with a 3L volume and mass around 4-5kg

You do "git commit" and we will deploy your code on our satellite, that's it. Similar to Heroku model.

You can get your code on the satellite, effectively getting it for your own use for as little as $0. Right now. This is what ESA OPS-SAT mission is all about.

I would say "it depends", when it comes to cost. You can build your own grown station for UHF/VHF bands at under $1000. S-band and beyond will cost you more, but a fully-featured VHF/UHF/S-band one from a proper ven
