I had forgotten about that redirection (and didn't read your note), so I thought you were making a crude joke with that link at first.

But not everything turns out as you'd expect, so it's important to actually test and provide evidence.

I never saw this feeling expressed by anyone else. Had a period in my life where I was "heating got turned off"-poor. It took me quite some time after financially recovering until I felt comfortable spending money on anything othe

Same as you can print your own Dkarras Dollars and issue a new currency. Then see how much that affects the value of the USD.

I haven't encountered that issue on Solus Budgie. My first thought was an issue with your mouse, but since you've ruled that out, and it apparently works for you in Brave, I'm stumped.

But the no-pant strategy would be more effective.

That's certainly not the case for the EU. "All hospitality establishments in Europe are now required to declare ingredients contained in their foods that may induce allergies or food intolerances." https://www.wko.

I should also mention that it isn't in-house IT, but a separate company, and the whole thing was set up in a rushed effort late on a Friday afternoon the week before the whole working from home business would start (our management slep

It wouldn't surprise me if the pandemic had an influence on some of these hacks. E.g. at our company there are some PCs still running Windows 7. For that reason they had no direct internet access, only to the internal network. But sinc

I had to use this trick to kick GTA Online back into action when it got stuck forever on entering buildings (mid-2020). Didn't know it could be used to cut the load times in general.

Just checked and the names are now gone for me too. Seems like they removed them (again?)

Yes, 100 tonnes is nothing at this scale. The company I work for, a small-ish waste paper recycler, deals with about 15000 tonnes a month.

That's horrible, if true. Do you have a source for that? A quick Google search didn't get me anywhere. At least here in Austria the glass bottles are actually cleaned and re-used.

You're reading a lot into that short parent comment. Maybe you should be a bit more generous in your interpretation of other people's words.

Here is the earliest snapshot on the Internet Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20210217190305/https://arstechni... It does indeed mention the names, even in this version from yesterday.

How are rape and the death sentence related? You could just as well say that it's weird how people can support taking someones's freedom and locking them away, but are not okay with raping them.

Don't worry! I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the number of exclamation marks I see on a typical work day. It's perfectly alright, at least here in Austria.

Interesting. I also used fish for a while after looking at bash alternatives, but ended up with zsh, because fish had some (admittedly minor) inconveniences/bugs, and zsh felt more mature. But very soon I had to install the two extensi

Also great as a live wallpaper. I have set mine up to be black and white, which goes well with my icon set.
