Luckily, we had web accelerating proxies like OnSpeed[1] back in the day that would compress web pages (including lossy image compression) so if you were one of the poor sods still on dialup (like I was), it was a lot more bearable. [1] ht

It's not impossible, but most KeePass tools are written in sane languages and built with sane tooling, and don't use trash like Javascript and npm. Of course I'm not considering browser extensions or exclusive web-clients, bu

You need to consider the upgradability aspect too - the next time you want to upgrade, you just need to buy a new mainboard, which would be considerably cheaper than buying a whole new laptop.

I've never seen it stated anywhere that the App Store is the primary method for macOS. Well, I could be wrong, maybe Apple does mention it somewhere, but pretty much every popular app publisher still publishes their .dmg file directly

Why is the AMD version not available in LPCAMM2, and can we expect to see an LPCAMM2 version in the near future?

I just realised that the credit card I used to place my preorder will expire next month. Will there be an option to update my card details when I need to pay the full amount?

But they are available for pre-order though? At least here in NZ. I just ordered the AMD version, but the Intel one is available too (except the Ultra X9 which is already sold out).

This is exactly what I dislike about incus. But what I do like about incus is how I can easily spin up and configure VMs directly using the CLI, without preparing a config first (I hate yaml). So would be nice if holos could replicate that

Just use AI to fight AI, that's the only sensible way we can keep up. So if you're low-quality PRs, reports etc, have LLMs filter them out. Like how once upon a time we used to drown in email spam but it's now mostly a non-is
