That used to work great for me, but recently it started to fail. It downloads a few pages but then it gets errors, as if it is detected and prevented by the server from scraping.

I don't know if any API does this, but I often wished that APIs I used could mark up just a tiny, tiny subset as @FutureSafe, like the opposite of tagging deprecated code, so that for smaller projects you could stick to only or mostly

Depends on what part of EU you are in. From older HN threads I learned that in some countries people still pay for sending text messages, so I guess that makes it more likely that some app can become popular there.

Yes. Is there ANY way good to type combined words using the default Android keyboard? I keep manually removing spaces, and then the spellchecker of course incorrectly marks the combined word as being incorrect.

The download of a single EXE to keep had a nice side-effect though, that it made it trivial to store (most) apps (or their installers) for future use. Not so sure if in-browser apps can do that (yet?) except maybe by saving an entire virtua
