Probably true, but you also have to account for the mitigation of 'opportunity risks', rather than just the inherent risk of being (there's probably a proper name for this, but I don't know what it is). For example, if y

That's not correct. The need for buoyancy is a very similar constraint, just with a different threshold. If a blue whale is too heavy (or rather more accurately, too dense), then it will become very challenging for the whale to surface

I'd be cautious about believing these 'whistleblowers' who make it sound like the problem is human error, or Boeing contractors, etc., or anything else where there's a scapegoat or a quick fix. I'm not saying it

I don't think that your lungs are permanently coated in vape goo. Eventually your lungs will also clean themselves out. It's not supposed to be a literal like-for-like comparison, more an illustration that people knowingly put t

Possibly. Most semi-trucks cost about 200 000 USD. I couldn't find the value of a single truck load anywhere but there's a thread here[0] where folks are speculating it takes about 30-60 trucks to fully stock a Walmart, and a seco

Go to any fast food restaurant and watch them clean the grills, and imagine what that does to a person's gut. I don't think anyone's arguing that vaping is better than not vaping in this thread, so your point is kind of falli

It is possible that this is some big conspiracy to increase the number of fit, military age folks in the short term, it seems unlikely. If there were ever to be any kind of “meat grinding” war, it would be escalated to aircraft, drones, and

I'm not familiar with the contract between Fujitsu and the UK government, but it is common practice in these types of contracts to have: 1. A sign-off process where the customer approves releases. 2. A bug reporting process where the c

TFA makes a point of how weird it is that Tesla just say “Cybertruck” not “the Cybertruck”, so whether it was written for the Cybertruck or not, it has at least been updated for the Cybertruck.
