I already use tmux and vim for all my development needs. So, once I'll be able to use a "temrinal" in a browser, I'll easily be able to switch to a desktop-less PC.

I sadly don't have time to implement it, but I'm still suggesting the idea. You enter a keyword - say Python. It shows a graph where nodes are submitted articles and comments intermixed. On each "Comment" node, we see the picture of the aut

I'd suggest not forcing a signup to use the game. People just don't have the time to signup again for a game they don't even know if it's worth it.

This "10 one liners.." is the third or fourth one this week; so I think it's just a way to say "Heh, your favorite language can do that? Mine too, here's how". I wanted to show a "Impress your friend with python" suite but would not be shy

Personally, I find: x += 2 Easier to read then: x = x + 2 For many reasons.. but mainly: 1) The first statement basically says: Add 2 to x, while the second says: Take x, add 2 and add that to x.. Which is one more step.

However, something I've struggled a little more related to jquery is finding and using the plugin. The official plugin website is really not optimal and it's hard to find the "best" plugin when you're looking for something. I guess an unoff

I see the effort behind this project but I have to admit that I find it a bit useless. I've never had any problems finding anything related to jquery's documentation. I simply google and the top3 results is practically always the official d

No problem. In fact, the second I wrote that message, it stopped from sending new confirmation messages. I think it happened because I toggled off/on a message.. Is that possible?

Pretty cute, easy to signup and get going. But now, it's spamming me lots of confirmation code even though I've already confirmed the first one and got access to my control panel!

Seems interesting. The big caveat I see is how the final code is generated, unlike CoffeeScript which is more 1:1 with real JavaScript.

Why try to make PHP more readable? Just use another language. PHP, like C++, is a big industry dinosaur that can't and won't change. In my opinion, the best think you could do is create a new language which compiles to PHP. I.e. A coffeescr

It's hard to use functional paradigms without closures and first class functions. But, more importantly, I would say it's more about the mentality of API designers and java programmers. I've once used high level functions in PHP in a real p

One thing to say is that OO doesn't mean no-functional and functional does't mean no OO. For instance, Python's String is functional since you can't alter it.. 'test'.replace('t', 's') will always return something new and does't not depend
