Maybe I wasn't clear. The gotcha with 3/2 == 1 isn't that it's giving 1, it's that the behavior changes depending of the version of python.

There are quirks in every languages - python obviously included. And please, don't forget that you're using a very old version of the Javascript language. It's a little bit like if I'm arguing about the errors and quirks of Python 1.5. La

One reason is just that since game development is mostly all windows based, new programmers learn to use windows tools.. and thus become more experienced with them and not wanting to switch to something completely new which would require a

I find it waaaay too geeky for a cooking website. The idea could be useful but as it is right now, it's very hard to understand how it's supposed to work. (Revision 2, what?)

Mind to share your mind about how "they are onto something big"? Unless there is a hidden feature somewhere, I really don't see how it's big or why YC invested in it. Sure, it's useful. Sure, it's cool. But I'm afraid that it doesn't solve

I wish not!! When I get on a repository, I want to see the code. Although I don't mind if there is smaller area containing the feed.

Am I the only one thinking it's a very selfish and unfunny move? What if I call him saying I'm a physician from hospital X and announce him that his father just died. Oh, and then, I'll post a blog explaining how you shouldn't trust people

I've had great success with nginx as the main entry to serve static files and direct the traffic at a django w/ gunicorn. Add a small supervisor system and you've got a very simple but robust server.

An apache expert would probably prove me wrong, but I've found it quite simpler to use nginx to dispatch multiple domains to different backend types. For instance, I have a couple nodes, one wordpress blog and lots of small django websites.
