   The industry standard for this is manufacturers of siding/windows/etc calling out that improper installation can void the product warranty.

   I honestly think this is a product of large corporations being essentially incapable of firing bad resources. Companies are terrified of litigation and bad PR so the only control mechanism is the interview process.

   Wall Street Journal is subscription only. I think it's a great publication and I've been a happy paying member for 5 years.

   Who within the company makes that decision? What if a conservative white manager fires a liberal black employee citing that they were making other employees uncomfortable with their political diatribes?
