This is great! I've noticed you're using jquery (and that's fine) so what is YOUR opinion about current state of js? Are you considering any js framework? And if so, which one would it be and why?

I wonder if anyone would agree with me but my experience with (Smalltalk way of) OOP is that it's extremely powerful and expressive but very hard to follow (thanks to messaging). Like in ruby, you can code "in english" but on

There's also dependency on shadowdom, which has to be polyfilled in ms edge. Other than that, I think Polymer is getting better but it still feels (subjective) a lot like research project.

Author here, this is WIP but it works with create-react-app and one project I'm working on so it could (hopefully) work for you too. If anyone could test this, it'd great :) Please note all of this babel stuff takes much more time

It's just like if you wanted some-datepicker.js which depended on jquery1.1 but the rest of your code was jquery1.8 Polymer suffers from this because they are registering global custom element - just like when jquery registered itself

You can't use external component which depends on MyCustomButton 1.0 and then use MyCustomButton 2.0 in the rest of your app (this is called dependency hell and it is no issue for google because of their monorepo design so it basically

Basically, it's about "we can't use lib x because it will break lib y" - this already happens in java and I would consider java being very conservative and slow-progressing. Now, imagine how quickly is javascript evolvin

please correct me if I'm wrong but it seems that custom elements still do nothing about dependency hell (it's not possible to use same lib in different versions)

I know how these work and it's indeed interesting for example PAQ achieves great compression by training multiple neural networks but it's still generic so I thought maybe somebody already has pretrained something similar at large

Thx for trying out. lance is very new (you can lower "active" filter to 0.1 and it will show up) BrowserQuest does not refer to its github repo in package.json, so (at least for now) there is no easy way I could reach it. It neith

Yep, the reason why I made this is that I've been wasting too much time with google, npmjs, npmsearch, nipster, ... Plain github search usually worked better, but even there I've usually had to open first two pages of projects jus

Correct, including bugfixes. Usually, healthy projects do at least one minor/major/bugfix release every 6 months. Also, if you are really desperate, you can lower/remove any filters on the top and get all matching results
