   Been doing that for a couple of years. Works well. No need to switch the train between Waldshut/Koblenz and Zurich. Allows me 2h of coding each day during the train ride.

   Yes that sucks. So I have written / am writing my own code generation tool which runs only once and does not rely on any fancy instructions in comments. Ah yes ... maybe `go generate`. I hate a slow compiler.

   I've once implemented it for M2 to give you full nice errors while you mess around with the XML ... but that PR was never accepted and it took to long for them to post any response ... so I abandoned it, that feature and M2.

    I only work with Go 1.4 :-) I was aware that the plugin didn't support for a long time the new Go structure. But with the overall refactoring it works now perfect.

    Go or Java is still faster than HHVM/PHP7. I'm writing my new project (Magento Go (wordplay) ;-) ) in GoLang.
