"Give the money to the people". The US did this in the form of tax credits for housing. Germany did something similar in the form of credits for car purchases. This form of giving goes directly toward an industry in need. I'm

Some words are ambiguous enough that a dictionary cannot fully describe. I think this is one of those. Second, wikipedia is a horrible source to trust for anything debatable.

Would be great if HN auto-swapped links to paywalled sites with a link to query on search site instead.

It's an ethical question. The argument of greater stability could be used to posit positive outcome for full traditional colonization as well. What we should ask: How much of the 60B Euro per month the ECB is using for QE in the Eurozo

My question was concerning attribution. Though debatable lets assume still the original was not theirs and they remixed it. Even if they made massive changes turning into their own beast allowing us to call the Snowden version significant w

I agree and this is what I was hinting at with the last point. I think in the end there is no way to update our understanding to a world filled with acts of conflict that are difficult to attribute. We've lived in an attribution luxury

It is worthwhile to apply the same scepticism for placement of attribution as was applied with the Sony hack. In the latter many security analysts question NK attribution based on the similarity of code argument given by the US -- pointing

Is it 0day or is it not. "0day" is not an important word except that the media has started using it. For those of us working in the field, it's just a fun term, not a legal term. It is used to distinguish the risk of a bug, n

I don't have a source as reliable as Wikipedia. I base my definition on how it is used in the field of reverse engineering which I've been in for a long time. In any case, people can stick with the wiki definition. Not important.

I disagree with this interpretation. It remains 0 day until it is patched or has a work around (disabling the service). Further still the date aging starts begins when the bug is disclosed publicly, or broadly if not publicly. Internal disc
