The article makes absolutely no sense. AI works better than humans. The quality of AI output depends on request. Higher quality request produces high quality output and vice versa. The article completely misses the point. Beware of the TEMU

I don't understand the desire to run own AI models for programming locally. No laptop is ever going to be as powerful and energy efficient to run anything close to OpenAI, Anthropic or Google models. A model you can run on a loptop is

Great news, but could we have a higher GDP per capita, please? That's the most important part, isn't it?

Oh, that's an article on macs. It's actually surreal to require a manual action to install a program.

You don't understand Kremlin's mentality. Any even little nasty thing they can do to the West makes them giggle like Doctor Evil. "Oh, a NATO country's government infra was not protected from DDoS? Let's have fun, h

Really, you have no one in mind? Someone who is sending hundreds of bombing drones daily to Ukraine, killing civilian population, women and children, and who is eager to send a message to NATO countries any way possible?

Good job on putting words in my mouth, tovarishch. Of course every Android is like a crack house. Can't even get to the home screen without my phone offering me sex, drugs and alcohol.

Last time I checked an Android phone was not selling me alcohol or porn. It requires specific deliberate actions to get access to anything like this with a phone. Any checks could be justified on the store or web-site level, not on the phon

This smells like Soviet Union. The next step will be a requirement to confirm your identity - trying to justify it with a wicked manipulation tactic "we need to know your are not lying when selecting your age". No one asked for it

Before you decide to change jobs - the demand in electricians is caused by a temporary massive construction boom of data centers. Maintaining an already built data center doesn't require much personnel. It's a clickbait article.

Great job on comparing apples to oranges. DuckDB is a columnar OLAP engine, SQLite is row-oriented OLTP. DuckDB should stomp SQLite in that particular use case.

Weird, it doesn't require it for me. Old reddit links open perfectly in incognito/private mode. Residential network, Poland. They could be doing some sort of A/B testing though.
