If you wanted to do it on really old Apple devices, I had Linux running on an iPod photo back in 2005 or so. It ran Doom, and also worked as a Redbox (there were still a few payphones around back then). But yes, it'd be nice for someth

There's one country they've not been so thrilled to publicize when they've acted against us in the past. See: The USS Liberty Incident. Not saying that's what's going on here. But it is the exception to the rule yo

I'll take the Linux method any day -- it lets me put custom commands, including command line args. Could I just write a script and point my shortcut to that instead? Sure. At the end of the day, making things idiot proof can be how som

It strikes me as amazing that we went from the general recognition that AGI wasn't anywhere soon to suddenly having this widespread idea that it was right around the corner. Sort of reminds me of the late 90s super-proto-VR stuff where

The KYC/AML stuff got stepped up a lot -- more just a time waster for a lot of people, and a drag on the financial industries, for better or worse (and hey, militant groups still get funding!). I think more of what 9/11 did is cha

SciFi TV and movies ALL depend how you define SciFi, as arguably most of what passes for it is more like fantasy or horror with the aesthetics of something ...sciencey. Good thing I like those genres too.
