It's great that the new async feature is made official now. Off topic: Is that team in the picture behind VS and .NET? That seems extremely a small number of developers out there. I was expecting at least a few hundreds of people.

I kind of wonder how Google's driverless car handles the situation in extremely populous cities such as Shanghai or HongKong.

Despite the domain name issue, the post itself was nice to read. I could easily sense the enthusiasm and pride when you mentioned your success in the launch of FireBase and the gimmicks prior to it. Thanks.

That's OK. You can have your opinion. A fine film camera has no serious contenders at the moment, from the viewpoint of both the photographers, and the sophisticated viewer Some professional photographers said basically the same thing on

Acoustic pianos are dying and losing to digital pianos. It's a trend just like film camera lost to digital camera. No tuning required.

I've played with gltail (can be found at http://www.fudgie.org/ ) since yesterday. It should do what you want to achieve and run under Windows as well, though it's written in openGL and Ruby.

We had the same experience with one of our main Rails apps recently. The original version was written in 2007 in Rails 1.2.x and Ruby 1.8.6. Since then, lots of features have been added, which of course inflated LOC and increased gems/plugi

Nice post on a topic I'm always interested in. Clicking through multiple pages with ads around is a pain though. I would suggest the author to publish it as an ebook in pdf. I would definitely buy a copy if it's in $5-15 range.

You can buy used imac or mac mini at around $300. Even 5 year old late 2006 imac, which I got from one of my friends for free, can install Lion and be used for iPhone app development.
