I used loom for the first time today, not only did it do all the things you mentioned, but it perfectly transcribed what I said, then allowed me to cut out sections of the video just by deleting words and pauses from the transcription. I th

Any idea why rooftop solar hasn't taken off? In Australia it's going gang busters and contributes about 2x the energy of our grid-scale solar.

How does the Bruno snap compare to the Postman snap, in terms of startup times? I know snaps are slow, but the Postman snap takes forever (~16 seconds)

720px actually, but more importantly, 720px is not actually 720px on a HiDPI screen. I just measured it on my mbp and "720px" is actually... 1440 physical pixels. I was surprised too!

If you weren't concerned with preserving life, you could take the current population of Earth, multiply by the average weight of a human (69kg according to Wolfram Alpha's sources), assume that we have the same density as water, a

We also don't know how big the dev team is. It's heavily implied that it was one, but not actually stated.

Could you work on an open-source game engine in your spare time, then use that to pivot across? And/or get a web-dev job in a games company and then try to get an internal transfer?

Yes, but if it's behind a NAT gateway, how is it going to get the initial infection? I know there are ways, but realistically none of them make sense in this context.

Most people in the reddit thread I saw seemed to assume botnet. I'm not convinced though. That would assume that the washing machine was opening an external port on the user's router, which seems unlikely. I looked up a manual for

Expecting every developer to be able to patch a binary is, to put it politely, unrealistic. The world of software engineering is enormous, and knowing all parts of the software stack hasn't been remotely feasible for a very long time.
