I think the two comments above yours are poking fun at the guy who is committing a felony by lying to federal agents. They're just making it obvious what he's doing is really shitty, anti-social behavior.

I clicked on it because I thought it was about the programming language Julia. I'm still not fully sure what Julia here actually is.

I didn't say that to be pedantic, but to avoid that particular type of asker who isn't actually asking a genuine question here. After listing all the ways that Notepad++ (as an example here) suspects who they suspect, the asker th

Who made you do anything? It's a fun website. If you don't like it, move along or make one yourself. I could understand if you were paying for something, but this is free.

I was linking it partially tongue in cheek, but oracles and the auspices in antiquity were specifically not about morality. They were about predicting the future. If you wanted to know if you should invade Carthage on a certain day, you

It's not any one thing, it's all of it combined. Very middling language, bold keywords, simple tricolon throughout, unnecessary em-dashes... If it's not AI, it's still mediocre writing with no substance behind it.

In fact, this was one of the very first things I did when Chat-GPT was first released to the public. It was impressive, but far from perfect. It's still not quite there.

Ctrl+Shit+U + 2014 (em dash) or 2013 (en dash) in Linux. Former academic here, and I use the things all the time. You can find them all over my pre-LLM publications.

It really speaks to the weakness of your original claim that you're applying this level of sophistry to your backpedaling.

I think some people are just the center of gravity, and that particular friend circle revolves around them. Before COVID, we had a friend group that would hang out fairly regularly. Once I left (for a job, not fleeing the city), none of the

Off by 10+1. Someone who graduated college in 2000 = 25 + 22 (4 years of college from 18) = 47, not 57, and not anywhere close to the retirement age. It might be pedantry, but the original comment should have said 1990, not 2000.

Hard disagree. I find that Linux (particularly but not exclusively Gnome) is actually even better than Windows or Mac OS. I hate having to use Windows or Mac again for how clumsy and poorly thought out they are. It took how long before they
