Yeah, I've used that to good effect. My main quibble with copilot vs chatGPT is that chatgpt will remind me of side effect changes I need to make elsewhere in the file, which I haven't figured out how to make copilot do.

Coding with AI has been amazing. I am a pretty 'mid' software developer generally, have been working as a PM for the last 3 years so have gotten rusty. Got laid off in December. In about 60 hours of work, I've built a MVP Rea

Not really. It is inevitable such a system would lead to people spoofing the sensor to get fake images signed.

I sincerely think you (in the thought experiment) sounds like an incredible hero. Libraries are awesome and great for reducing inequality, using ads to support that cause and also funneling cash to UBI initiatives? Even better

Your argument is ridiculous, because it could identically be applied to "every human artist should have to pay a license to every artist whose work they were inspired by". That would obviously be a horrible future, but megacorps

Lol, did an AI write this? Literally no one buys books because they might one day recoup a fraction of the sticker price on the secondary market. Baffling

Couldn't software gradually increase power to match the grip of the tires and prevent spinning? Or would that slow it down because a spinout 0-60 (not counting rollout) is faster that a "perfect throttle" 0-60?

IIRC you should be able to download it and then put Steam into offline mode and it won't call home until you flip that toggle again... unless they changed how that works since I last fiddled with it. Might need to play once before fli

I think there is probably a threshold of usefulness, local LLMs are expensive to run but pretty close to it for most use cases now. In a couple years, our smartphones will probably be powerful enough to run LLMs locally that are good enoug

The NYT has a long history of being pro-war. People who dislike US using military force to enforce global hegemony would probably disagree with many of the editorial choices they are making behind closed doors.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. But there is only an absence if you choose to throw out the hundreds of "not good enough" studies indicating effects in the same direction. There is a weird contrarianism a lot of p
