"terrible" and "noisy" are both largely subjective, so it would be very hard to bring a defamation suit in the US over those claims.

Google will link you a source, but doesn't explain how the wrong source got linked to an infobox. I think this distinction is somewhat academic. Either system can present users with wrong information without explanation.

I think this is a weird non-issue and it's interesting people are so concerned about it. - Human curated systems make mistakes. - Fiction has created the trope of the omniscient AI. - GPT curated systems also make mistakes. - People ar

It's a lot simpler than that: - it is immoral to genetically experiment on others (especially children) without their consent. - individuals should have the right to attempt to genetically engineer themselves if they wish: if they unde

If a take a dollar from everyone but it's opt out, that's still theft. If I make it opt in, nobody is going to give me the dollar, but that doesn't make opt out morally justifiable.

> opt-in telemetry doesn't work That's too bad. Guess you don't get any telemetry data if you want to develop ethical open software. The answer isn't to bend your ethics. If a take a dollar from everyone but it'

A fiduciary duty doesn't mean choosing the cheapest thing, it just means the AI can't base decisions off how much of a kickback the AI would receive for making/suggesting that choice.

The key is that AI needs to have a fiduciary duty to its users: it should always suggest the most economically advantageous deal for the user, not what is best for the AI if those are not aligned. Make a marketplace for targeted discounts t

My beliefs have shifted over the past years, and I now think it is likely that AGIs will be SIGNIFICANTLY more moral than the average human leader. Instinctual survival drives continue to steer the human psyche despite some no longer being

We are on the verge of "A picture is worth a thousand words" being deterministically quantifiable and testable. I think the politics of art are about to get very weird and interesting. Solid blue is superlative example, but I thin
