Same. It's been great. Their spam filter needed a little tweaking from the default settings, but other than that, I've had no problems with the service.

Absolutely this. The amount of RAM that I need in order to run Gitlab is greater than the RAM requirements of all of the projects that I would host in a Gitlab instance combined. Fortunately, gogs is a thing.

This. Even when I'm sleeping, my internet connection is literally never idle. I wouldn't consider myself to be a heavy internet user - demanding and impatient, maybe, but I'm always clocking in at < 1000GB.

I went down that road and it's certainly not as comfortable as macOS. The biggest thing is that the Linux environment is more or less separated from the actual desktop environment. For instance, if I install Atom on Windows, I can'

Leaders typically aren't good at their job unless they've had experience working "in the trenches". IMO, don't try to rush into leadership.

Still parroting that old trope, huh? The quality of an engineer is rarely dictated by their tools. You can be an excellent engineer with a shitty language, or you can be a terrible engineer with a great language. I'll be the first to a

University of the People ( https://www.uopeople.edu/ ) offers a tuition free CS degree program (both an AS and a BS). Many of the course materials are quite old (in some cases 5-10+ years), but this is really only a problem w

Cold applications are probably the worst way to get a job. You need to go to some local meetups and rub elbows with people IRL.

The time to spin up is on the order of seconds. IMO, if your core competency isn't sourcing and buying hardware in order to build render farms, you shouldn't do it. It's just not worth it. AWS brings a lot of value to the tab
