I'm with you Ryan, it is a success story for Techcrunch. I'm not a TC fan, but still not gonna let emotions get in the way of the facts.

We already have some pain-free meat in the form of invertebrates: shrimp, crab, mussels, etc. Also, I'm not sure how I feel about devolving the pain reaction out of animals that have it.

I'm sure it's a thrill to crush an enemy, but I think I'd rather take a few million and have some women console my "loss." Lamenting women just doesn't do it for me.

$170 million is why. There was a good amount invested over a few rounds, but what's left is probably enough FU money for Aaron and team.

Isn't a fax more admissible in court? Posting pics (or getting tagged) on FB just became that more dangerous.

Mountain View, CA I was wondering why most responses were Europe. Then I realized it's 2:30 in the morning. :-/ Goodnight Hacker News! Hack away until I rise again.

I imagine I would do better with more fish and seaweed. However, a recent talk at TED, http://www.ted.com/talks/nina_jablonski_breaks_the_illusion_... , implies that we are getting enough sun even at higher latitudes. Humans at higher lati

I think there may be a few others, but I think the essence of a hacker is based in creativity. The more creative, the better you are at figuring out that problem.

Isn't this the British English version of code? I think I've seen it elsewhere in British press.

How about an Irish Corp? They have a low tax rate. 12.5% and tax treaties with a bunch of countries. This should allow you to get dividends or capital gains at a more favorable rate. Tons of high tech companies have set up their European op

Like the SFO and Oak quick ticketing. However, there's an added issue with buying a ticket to Oak - you need to pay an extra $3 to get an AirBart Ticket to the actual airport. It would be nice to account for this.

Just ordered a leap. I went into a showroom with a ergonomic pro and got the 30 min lesson on all it's features. With the right adjustments you should be able to code all day without issue.

What if we rethought the design of the "rover" to make it smaller and the whole launch mass less? I don't think there's a requirement for a four or even three wheel rover. Instead, we could use a clear double inflatable ball with an instrum

The Western provinces have lower tax burdens than many states in the US. I compared a few income and family situations with my California income, and there's a 5-10% savings in taxes. Add in the free healthcare and the option to get a 15% r

It's just as memorable as google was on it's first day. A little branding and constantly improving results could make it a player. But, only time will tell. I'm cheering for them.
