I’d argue this showcases the mysterious death of forums, where Reddit has become the only one standing, but even it not being featured in Google search results. Google used to return tons of forums as results, where as now it is all subpar

It seems to me that the same thing that happened to Reddit is happening to Hacker News now. I've seen an uptick of misleading titles, which make you question what is real. Another trend I've noticed is an increase in pro-drug/

Doctors kids become doctors and doctors are well paid. This is anecdotal, but my elementary school class was full of doctors kids and I can tell you that the doctor parents would almost disown their kid if they didn't get into medical

Tumblr was censored to drive traffic to Reddit and Twitter, which creates a more centralized crowd. The decision to censor Tumblr makes absolutely no business sense for tumblr, which means the main motivator is something else.

Just read about Julian Simon's book, "The Ultimate Resource 2 (1997)", in which he argues that the world will never run out of resources, as it is the human mind that drives advance, not capital or materials. In other words,
