It's like ANSI graphics that load instantly: it's painful to witness. Unless it's like ticker tape rolling out, it just ain't right.

Apparently KaiOS is a fork of Firefox OS/B2G. So... where's the code, yo? I've scoured Github, but no sign of it. edit: nevermind: "KaiOS is based on the Firefox OS open-source project and we are committed to abide by t

I find it bizarre to see people equating forum moderation with some sort of freedom-bashing censorship. Does no one remember Usenet? Active moderation is essential for discussion forums, even if only to clean out spam and trolling. There&#x

I think many people just don't know anything else than the typical supermarket variety. I was talking soap lately and when I said I loved how the soap left no smell behind they replied that they preferred to be left smelling 'clea

People who use dryer sheets and fabric softener are the worst. You can smell a block over, and even from such distance its enough to give me difficulty breathing.

If the containers are sealed, how can they put out so many toxic fume clouds? Scary stuff.

I use Liquid Rock from Kiss My Face and it works well. I did use an actually rock salt stick deodorant for a while. It was hit or miss.

Desert Essence tea tree vegetable soap bar is also really excellent. It has only a mild smell going on, and leaves no scent behind. Also a killer lather and lasts a long time. Their liquid soap.. no so good, doesn't lather well and doe

Translation: I'm unwilling to put down my phone, and I will conjure any number of nightmare scenarios to justify my addiction. Or, perhaps, some people are truly terrified to be away from their smartphones. That is itself a scary thoug

You cannot expect hardened smartphone addicts to follow directives that crossgrain their addiction. The only reason harsh policies like this are being enacted is because wrist-slaps and pleas do not work. It basically boils down to: if you

There should be some sort of public phone that people can use, perhaps in booth format. Or maybe some sort of minimal electronic device where text messages can be passed, where you could, in essence, 'page' someone. Hmmm.

I don't know that Chubby Checker did so well. I saw him at a county fair 25 years ago. He was performing in a tent the size of a large restroom, with only two rows of benches, at about 2pm. There may have been only 3-4 people there alt
