I think in general a taboo is something the majority of people cannot see themselves doing. If our civilization evolved in a way where you were rewarded for having as many children possible with as many partners as possible perhaps sexual v

I don’t think you properly understand “spartan”/ brutalist. The video is using the materials in their most outrageous but possible form to demonstrate their flexibility, and executed in an imposing way. How’s that not brutalist?

Because they’re advertising their services? They’re the first people to have gotten a video of this. I doubt a flight school would risk their entire business for a vital marketing ploy.

Lucky man. I was doing this during the start of lockdown (when spectrun was having an outbreak at their CS office). So calling to get the modem provisioned took about an hour and a half. The initial provision file was wrong so had to go thr

Earlier this year I purchased my own router and modem and when I called Spectrun to cancel my rental, I was informed I needed to sign up for a new package - the price of which was about $2 more than I was previously paying WITH rented equip

I’ve always been curious about this. I had one flight where the whole plane smelled god awful - almost like cat pee - and my checked bag and overhead stowed bag were stained with this god awful smell that refused to come out. Wonder if it’

Tell that to Magic Leap. Private investors don't have 5-10 year horizons for plowing money into R&D to eventually see if it gets somewhere. This is a multi-billion dollar yearly capital commitment

This is correct. Back at least in the Vista days each public release had to be passed to the NSA to validate the encryption algorithms and implementation. I’d imagine they poked around a few other parts of the OS

This is something I call a “wish in one hand, sh*t in the other , see which fills up faster” scenario. There is no way Microsoft could make as much as they do now on Server if they switched to a “services and consulting” model.

What do you mean “caught”? Is there a stipulation on time zone or country? Truly don’t see the problem of bopping off to another country as long as you’re still doing your work and active in the team?
