First of all, the Guardian is known to be heavily biased again Musk. They always try hard to make everything about him sound as negative as possible. Second, last time I tried, Grok even refused to create pictures of naked adults. I just tr

Apparently my previous reply got shadow banned by HN. Oh the irony. To repeat: the ban of cis was a reaction to the previous ban of t_r_a_n_n_y. If you are fine with the latter ban you should be fine with the former.

I guess individual posts are likely not prompted, as this would be too much relative effort for the sheer volume of posts. Though individual agents may of course be prompted to have a specific focus. The latter is easy to determine by check

The PlayStation 5 (16GB) has only twice as much RAM as the PlayStation 4 (8GB), and the PlayStation 6 will likely have just 1.5x as much as the PS5: 24GB. And even that might be optimistic with the recent explosion of memory price.

I don't think there are "quite a few" phones with 24GB. For example, even the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is one of the most expensive ones out there, only has 12GB DRAM.

DRAM price actually hasn't decreased much over the last 10 to 15 years. In the decades before, there was a huge increase in memory capacity, perhaps even exponential like for transistors.

Yes but game developers can't rely on optional add-ons because most people won't have them. So there is little reason for the developers to support them. That's why such optional add-ons were rarely successful in the past.

But that's a thing people have to put on their faces, which, as we have seen, most people really don't like. It also costs extra money, unlike a "3D mode", which would just be enabled in the game menu.
