I was questioning why WeatherKit needs a "platform-specific Swift API" at all. If the general REST API in Swift is good then WeatherKit can be integrated into Swift apps as easily as any other service. If it's not easy then i

You've got to wonder why the focus isn't on providing a seamless general Rest API experience for all services rather then having specific Swift extensions for each service.

It's something that comes with experience. If you've had projects like this in the past you'll recognise the early warning signs (eg. hard deadline before (even rough draft) requirements are available). You'll know it&#x

A cynical view might be those posters are there to stop you seeing and interacting with your fellow co-workers through what would normally be a transparent divider while a vote is imminent.

That is baffling logic. Sure, they think they know best and want to ignore the wishes of the owner of the web site. Why then respect a NOINDEX meta-tag instead of robots.txt?

My experience is once you've got your foot in the door at a company nobody is interested in your university background. Perhaps it's different if you have a higher qualification like a doctorate.

I got my team on side to use rebase/squash instead of blind merge commits after I showed them how much easier git bisect is to use when you have a linear commit history in your main branch. Now nobody wants to be 'that person'
