Just yesterday I wrote a command line tool I called “slice” that acts like Python list slicing for lines in a file. It’s a bit simpler than piping head to tail, and I’ve needed it enough times this week that I went ahead and wrote it in Zig

It is now included in this version as the Line Art Modifier. While LANPR was a nice render engine, iterations between the summer of code projects and v2.93 moved to a grease pencil based modifier.

When you first run a new version of Blender a popup should ask if you want to use space for search. If you already made it past the welcome screen, the user preferences (keymap tab) has an easy toggle for changing the space bar behavior.

I almost always default to git add -p when staging (and git reset -p when needed). Git rebase -i also feels very quick to me as well. When isolating just one line from many changes the gui is nice, but in the majority of cases the CLI is mu

Having been a Blender user for a while now, I have used it multiple times as an alternative to Illustrator/Inkscape for 2D graphics for my projects because the editing capabilities feel much more flexible to me. I have also used the dr
