Windows store is not a real store which you can download regular windows apps. I think they only want to use it for metro apps and I think their functionality are far from native apps.

Accordıng to them, new yande browser is chromeless. Other browser is chrome. But also I remind you that, if you install chromium when chrome is already installed, it doesn't import cookies.

Are you sure that? Other browsers import bookmarks, history etc but not cookies, especially session cookies.

I guess OP doesn't use requestAnimationFrame, otherwise, it would wait for the tab being focused. Edit: Checked the code. He uses requestAnimationFrame.
