They have a pretty good name in contact centre technology. I think the bigger shift is that people don't need desk phones anymore. The move to mobile is killing the need for fancy PBX gear in business.

Looks pretty neat! I will take a look at the site over the coming days and report back with feedback :) Side comment, I am wondering why you've bothered with putting your email as: salmaanpehlari[at]gmail[dot]com considering you'v

Looks nice. It would be nice to see even more examples, especially how it looks with smaller graphs. For example 200px wide by 30px high. I am looking at jquery-sparklines at the moment and this looks like it could be a neat twist to that l

I wonder if the city is profitable if the map is loaded with the normal game mechanics. I suspect he wouldn't have strategically placed the municipal resources around the place.

Just sounds crazy to me that someone feels that they need to defend themselves with deadly force at all times. I could only understand that if you live in a rough neighborhood with constant violence or have wild animals threatening your lif

Out of interest, why do you need a firearm on your hip as you sit at the computer? edit: I'm from Australia and the idea of having a single weapon, let alone more than 10 close by is kind of frightening.

I love Meteor and hope that it continues to grow! I've been using it since well before v1.0 and can understand peoples frustration around it. A lot of patterns and core themes have come and gone. Allow/deny, blaze, and now it is s

Admittedly I don't know what that is and I don't know a lot about how applications on OSX get permissions. From reading that thread I posted I was under the impression that Dropbox stored the password because it was able to reinst

I posted a separate comment, but will post here again... Dropbox do store one password AFAIK. It appears that they store OSX users administrator password... I am keen to see if they address this somewhere. See discussion: https://

I am wondering how they store OSX users administrator password, since it isn't being hashed - they actually store the password somewhere... it would be nice if that were addressed somewhere. See discussion: https://news.ycom

After reading this thread on HN ( https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=12247401 ) I made the move away from gmail to fastmail with my own TLD. I used a `.me` TLD. I love it. Works great and haven't been confused yet. Sti

Yeah I didn't think that there was a definitive answer in the article, kind of says that dropbox will just keep asking for it on boot. I was asking to see if anyone knew what APIs dropbox might be hooking into, but @szhu in a post abov

I have the Bose QC35s - there is zero lag when using them... however my car's bluetooth (seems a common thing) lags at least 1.5 seconds which is frustrating.

The simple fix would be for google to show their own page after successfully logging in. On this page they would tell the user they are about to be forwarded to another page external to google.
