I remember when I was prepping for my Microsoft interview. There was so much lore online as to the types of questions they'd ask and how to prepare. I even found 'How Would You Move Mount Fuji?' in the library and started reading through it

Damn, I guess I missed the discount, but it doesn't bother me much at all. I've used eclipse, netbeans, visual studio, and I'm sure a few others. In my opinion, a good IDE doesn't get in your way and makes life easier when you need it. I st

Bad UX killed Yahoo. Intrusive, animated advertisements and a cluttered home page are how I will always remember them. I often joke about how I test Internet connections by going to yahoo.com in the browser since no one goes there anymore a

I forgot about the DNS querying of wikipedia. Probably could've used that to entertain myself on my flights over the holidays since I'm pretty sure gogo inflight passes DNS through. Anyway, I'm a big fan of piping things into xargs. xxd is

I like that they'll monitor the profile and alert if a price drops. Even if they don't have the lowest on there, it's a good trigger for me to shop around again.

It's about time! I use Google's cloud-based services for as much as I can, but it's still not seamless and is annoying when I have to open a new window to access a service run by the same company providing the one in the page I'm on. Next s

It's not just BofA. I know of at least one other popular bank that uses the last four of one's SSN as the default password. They may also require a DOB, but that's simple enough.

I love the Arduino, but the boards are expensive when compared to other platforms. I recently started using the TI MSP430 Launchpad which is $4.50 shipped! It's also very flexible and uses very little power. If you want the simplicity of th

Thanks for the input! After reading here and some other reviews, I think I'm going to pull the trigger on it. Although, I'm sure a 32gb version will probably be available at $350 in 6 months :P

I'm considering getting this to replace my Nexus One. However, the lack of an sd slot and LTE really has me hung up. I'd be using it on T-mobile, though, so the LTE probably won't matter for a little while. I love the community support for

Exactly. That's why I'm such a fan of emacs. The closer I stay to the home-row, the better. Also, 'Ctrl + p' and 'Ctrl + n' will navigate through your command history. I do love 'Ctrl + r' for searching through it, too.

There's really no reason for this to happen with so many excellent community roms. Open source is a give and take. Motorola and others could most likely keep their promises if they started with a community rom and focused on QA. Also, Andro
