Full frame is a pretty standard term for 35mm. There is medium format, full frame, crop sensor, micro four thirds, and compact sensors (in decreasing sensor size). You can certainly take great photos with any sensor size. I've enjoyed

Sure, we have sponsored placements in the first slot, which contain the word "sponsored" next to them. That's an ad, in the same way Google has ads, and it appears above the list. I'm saying we don't let you pay to

Yes, that's exactly what popped into my head. It is just at the right level for explaining subjects for someone who isn't a specialist. This is what we're talking about for those not familiar: https://press.princet

That's good to know that there isn't pay-to-play (and http://www.blackhat.com/about.html confirms that). I assumed anything so corporate would be.

Black Hat is a corporate "vendor" conference. You're probably thinking of DEFCON. At DEFCON, you don't register. You pay them in cash, and they give you a (complex, hard to fake) badge. You wear the badge and they let

I don't know how far in you are, but I would suggest reading TRPL first. I read the Programming Rust book first, but I found TRPL a much better introduction. I wish I had done them in the other order. Maybe read TRPL first, and then g

There was this story a few days ago about adding a character, for the new era in the Japanese calendar due to the Emperor's abdication and crowning of the new Emperor. They need to add a character for the name of the era, but it hasn&#

There used to be a used bookstore near where I lived (McIntyre and Moore in Davis Square in Somerville). They had a sign on the wall about the kind of books they wanted to buy. They wanted books in fields where it is hard to make a living

I've used FastMail for years. You pay them money, so you are the customer, which is how it should be. Your data isn't being mined.

That reminds me of an interesting 2017 BBC article on the Faeroe islands. Apparently women have been moving away more than men, leading to a gender imbalance. So there are 300 or so wives imported from Asian countries out of a population

Perhaps you like white wine? I can't imagine an $8 red that was very good. If so, please let me know what it is. Price certainly varies with variety. A Pinot might be $20-40 while a cab would be more like $40-80 for the same quality.

I guess I'm missing the connection on those websites to Brutalist architecture. It seems more like they're bored with regular design, and want to be more experimental. It reminds conceptually more of Emigre magazine [1] or Ray Gu
