There is https://nbdime.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ , although I haven't used it personally to know how good it is.

One main distinction is that Shopify shops have a direct to consumer relationship. They can send you emails, and build up a brand. Amazon keeps the customer relationship, and if you succeed, they'll try to commoditize you. So it isn&

I've listed all of the (English language) shops I can find through Common crawl etc. That gives me 56 million products from 395k shops. Shopify quotes 1.75 million shops in all languages. So I've got a fraction of the total, bu

Pragmatically, there is a nice rust crate that implements a rope [1]. I think that has a lot to do with it. And it is a nice data structure for editors. [1] https://docs.rs/ropey/latest/ropey/

I'd second the vote for some "testing" fonts. At the very least, could you include some screenshots of larger chunks of code, with {} etc? I can't really tell how this will look on a screen full of code.

If you're using components, then it works great. The css is local to each component, and you only have to make changes in a single place. I'm just doing a fairly simple app, but I can see it scaling well to larger projects.

Do you have any stats on that? I've always wondered about the coverage of Common Crawl, if you include all the historical crawl files too.

This reminds me a bit of a classic paper called "1/N". It compared a portfolio of putting equal money into each security, vs a bunch of fancier approaches. The 1/N almost always won. https://papers.ssrn.com&#

I do find it amazing that mathematicians seem to have almost infinite time to work on problems, and so much freedom to choose what they're working on. How great that a big group of people can collectively decide to spend years creatin

I’ve never seen a Fiverr produced logo that was non-horrible. The AI ones are equally bad. If you have no budget then set your name in a nice font, pick a color and call it a day. If you have a $50 budget then you can use a commercial font.

Actually Stitchfix is an interesting example of “human in the loop” AI. The AI makes recommendations to the stylist, who assembles outfits. Presumably the stylist is still adding value or they wouldn’t have them.
