Unless you are incredibly desperate, this is a terrible, terrible idea, as is dealing with any VC or organization that demands these terms. Even if you are successful, you will end up with nothing. The investor will dictate subsequent terms

It irks you because of some design principle you read somewhere, or because it's actually a problem. This is true of many fonts, and is a rational choice.

If that's the case, why not be upset at something that matters. There is lots of much more impactful incompetence to complain about. Bad recruiters are largely harmless. And seriously, I can't imagine a more elitist, entitled atti

Why do recruiter emails bother people so much? Just ignore them. Sometimes they give me a small piece of visibility into the job market. Mostly they are a non-event. Why let it bother you?

As I said, they are definitely incompetent. However, it's quite clear that this is a bug, and it could have affected them, and they could be telling the truth, contrary to what the original article says.

I didn't say there was a bug in the protocol. There is a bug in the REFERENCE implementation, which is used by almost every exchange. And one criticism of MtGox was that they used a custom version of the reference implementation, and s

The statement is inherently flawed, regardless of its source. Because some exchanges were unaffected does not mean that MtGox was not affected, and the statement itself implies that other exchanges were affected which would be evidence in

"Some exchanges were in fact completely unaffected, revealing as false Gox’s claims that this was a bug in bitcoin." This reveals a lack of objectivity here. There IS a bug in bitcoin. There are workarounds, and some exchanges imp

Assuming you are sarcastically dismissing typed language defenses, as if people promoting typed languages have the position that tests are not necessary.

If you don't understand why a dynamic language needs more tests than a typed one, you probably haven't worked with typed languages. The difference is dramatic and clear. Just one example, code coverage must be 100% for a dynamic l

Type safety dramatically reduces the number of unit tests required. Since unit tests often depend on the structure of code, that reduces the amount of rewritten and modified test code and the stability of the tests over refactors, which in

Presumably you mean gross margin, calculated as revenue less cost of goods and excluding payment fees. For a $100 sale that costs $75 (a 25% gross margin, typical for internet sales), and a payment fee of 5%, the fee is $5, or 20% of the $2

You're missing the point. What makes an iPhone more real than an emulator? Is it that we consider an iPhone to be real and an emulator to be a simulator, is it that one came first? An emulator is still real. One could emulate an emulat
