What a poor debunk of the debunk. I had respect for David Fravor but listening an ex F/A-18 pilot say confidently "There is 0% chance that I'm wrong" and keeping using argument from authority convinced me that he's

Your experience ends. Whether someone else who happens to have the same brain as you lives is almost irrelevant in that context. Most people interested in cryo do this to prevent their experience from ending.

I think this is because the generation is done in the frequency domain. Phase retrieval is based on heuristics and not perfect, so it leads to this "compressed audio" feel. I think it should be improvable

While you're here, I want to mention that I never understood why Prisma couples so much the query builder (which IMO is the really best part of Prisma) to the query engine / DB driver (which is not differentiated at all as a produ

Sounds like you have a good startup opportunity here. For $1000 you could single-handedly replicate a multi billion dollar business. Why don’t you get started already?

Tailwind is not an abstraction. Tailwind is just another language to write CSS, at the same abstraction level as plain CSS, but with the benefit of being terse and in the same file as the markup. Tailwind actually removes a large part of CS

I’m actually happy that Mighty did not succeed. A more centralized web with dumb terminals is not what we need. I was always a bit disappointed to see Paul Graham hyping it up. Suhail is super smart though so I’m sure their next chapter is

FWIW, Many people use UE for synthetic data generation, so a plugin that generates trees to add in UE scenes is already super useful for that use case.
