That's a different question to what I was replying to, but if they do require citations then it seems like a poor idea to teach anyone to rely on this slight shortcut.

I can't understand why anyone would argue for being allowed to cite Wikipedia. It's not uncommon to find claims there that have no citation at all, so it'd have to be required to note if the part you're using is cited...

I had interpreted the news as affecting all users of the other tools. Now found https://github.com/TeamNewPipe/NewPipe/issues/11139 with very few comments so I don't get the impression it's affect

But.. the link to the other thread was already here when you made your post. I don't see any way to downvote a submission.

It's clearly saying DJs should email if they want to request tracks be added, though whether the "chat with us about this" will go anywhere, who knows.

There was a huge thread within the last couple days: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=40578414 Have there been developments since then?

Bandcamp's homepage says $194 million of sales in the last year. There's every style you can imagine on there.

My podcast downloader is always on an IP from another country, I don't mind the ads nearly as much when I can't understand a word they're saying!

Please don't let this line of thinking put you (the reader) off sharing tips. Here we now have a thread containing other information we may not have thought to ask anyone/thing about, discussion, history, etc.

I suspect both can be true at the same time. In the case of Instagram it still seems silly to miss out on potential customers by only posting on a non-public platform though.

My phone has slots for two full size sim cards and a microSD next to the removable battery. I feel confident it could have had a full SD card without affecting the overall thickness (9.4mm)

That may be the case, but typing into my address bar does not trigger or suggest searches. Good point about the right click.
