Agreed! I don’t even know stuff is wrong or insensitive sometimes. Someone recently told me not to say the word “Jew.” I wasn’t saying it in a bad way - we were discussing a friend who is Jewish, but I didn’t know just saying the word “Jew”

I felt like I had to remember how to shop other places online as I’ve been making my switch to less Amazon. I’m so tired of finding little business cards in all my orders to review the products. I gave a bad review on a vacuum cleaner, and

I’m surprised she didn’t try to escape from her apartment like you did. She mentions sleeping outside on an occasion, but that’s about it. I think I would have paid some money to go to a hotel, stay with a friend, grab an AirBnB someplace j

I’m confused too. It reminds me of the Black Mirror episode “Be Right Back.” A woman’s husband passed away, and she uses a service that aggregates his social media to make a profile of him, so she can talk to him again in a convincing way.

My grandfather passed away a few months ago in January, and he also suffered from Alzheimer’s. I remember one day someone mentioned they needed a tool for some house repairs. He overheard this and tried to bring them the tool from his shed.

I can’t find the documentary name, but this article reminds me of it. Basically, a man had chronic pain and spent a decade or more trying to solve it. It got to a point where he realized that even though he had treatments, he was still in a

You’re right! I sew infrequently as a hobby. I always thought my waist was just above my hips. When it comes to sewing, it’s actually closer to my belly button. The size of the clothes also need to account for the fabric type. If it stretch

Remote work made the last year of my Masters degree so much less stressful. The time gained from not having to commute meant I had a little extra time to study or relax.

I’ve actually heard people with certain handicaps find they can type better with the physical keyboard. I’m not sure what those handicaps are - I read it a long time ago. I think one thing may have been poor eyesight and being able to feel

I do the same thing! I find that with vinyl I’m more likely to listen to the whole album. With streaming, I’ll hear a song I like, remember another song, hop around all over the place.

I get that the female DNA comment might sound ignorant, but I was going down a rabbit hole about why girls play with dolls and came across the article below. It says that there might be some biological factors why girls gravitate towards th

Yeah, I was surprised they made that leap to the dolls carrying messages about their expected roles in society. As a little girl, my doll was more an outlet to be able to imitate my mother. She’d give me a cuddle, clothe me, put me down for

I reached out to Ubiquiti because we never got an email to rotate our passwords, and they told me I wouldn’t get an email unless I was using “Ubiquiti verified SSO.”

Sorry! It was this one. I guess it wasn’t the article so much as the comments on it. Former employees were lamenting the management at Ubiquiti, and users in the thread mentioned they noticed some rumblings of a decline in quality. Like I s

We upgraded to Ubiquiti a few months ago. I was so impressed by the hardware for the price. The dream machine firewall had such a good interface compared to more expensive firewalls I’ve used in the past. I’ve been very pleased so far, but
