So then fork it and continue like that. At least you have the option as opposed to some proprietary solution

They just recently announced that they won’t phase out third party cookies next year - delayed until further notice or next golden goose.

Reader mode does exactly this at 90% of websites that I visit. I sometimes wonder what sites people use that they have such a profoundly broken experience

What I do is just directly sample everything and then continue to work on the sample. It’s easy in modern DAW.

Just play an old version like 1.12 - IMO it’s the version that has most of the quality of life stuff like elytra but not too many new blocks

> it seems reasonable to say that foreign aid is not a mandatory expenditure. Is it reasonable to say though? How is staying on top of global power structures not mandatory for the US? It was in the last 80+ years or so the highest prio

As someone who worked in service about a decade you would be surprised how many fail this step. I can guarantee you will get much better service if you are nice to the staff. I would go above and beyond to fulfill any request if you are nic

That’s why I recommend in my original comment as well: get a better process. The person I replied to understood it as “piling on more and more agile bs” but IMO that was just bad faith so I ignored it. You need both - processes that are l

Cubans have fairly free access to the internet through mobile phones and VPN. So it’s not like cut off or anything just internet is really slow and expensive. But you can get a “download” of many sites including popular YouTube/Netflix

Still have the original box and cds in the attic. Loved that game as a kid but was never able to finish it - similar to Grim Fandango in my memory.

GP framed leaking all your keys at something that happens when you are tired or distracted. This is unacceptable behaviour for a professional in my eyes.

Yes that would have been a much better analogy.

That is fair enough, I guess it’s not a great analogy overall. But IMHO it’s hard to feel to bad for someone (az16 in this case) who handles their arguably most valuable goods in such a manner and gets robbed.

Sure there is no perfect solution here. I guess it’s a good idea to only pentest companies that do have a bug bounty program and an expressed interest in you pentesting. While I enjoyed the article that GP referenced and agreed with most th

It might have. But where I live in Berlin there is exactly one public toilet for the whole district. And it’s a pissoir only so if you are female or need no.2 you are screwed. Might be different in another neighbourhood here.

Well it could be this person that is professional and does not sell all your data to North Korean ransomware gangs - or it could be the one that does. Which one do you prefer?

Whoops I accidentally exposed all API keys ever to the public. No really this is unacceptable for a professional, it’s even bad for an amateur. If your processes are so insecure that a little tired breaks your whole company you done goofed.

If you put all your stuff on your front porch with a sign “please take what you want” and it’s all gone the next day - then you can’t say you were robbed. I think this is a more apt analogy to what az16 did here

Yea that is my setup right now. I write markdown and use eleventy + nunjucks templates to build the final result. It’s pretty easy to create new layouts and styles for really any use case with that setup in minutes.

It differs city by city, in some you have better facilities. IMO it’s more about drugs and sex than capitalism but yea I agree the state of public toilet availability is a disgrace in Germany

Oh yea in hindsight it would have been better to just stay in the editor and write HTML - but I was a kid and Dreamweaver was pretty easy to use. Although I did hit its limits pretty soon and tried to mess around with the code.

Oh yea Star Trek always has been a great example of optimistic scifi. But I feel it’s a bit dated and rooted in “US American culture” - not a bad thing per se but it feels to me like it’s not real realistic to expect that kind of culture to

Very cute! I did something similar with my dad when I was a kid. First basic HTML then Dreamweaver. A couple years down the road and I’m working at a SaaS company. Beware.

Can you name a couple of your favourite recent sci-fi books that have this optimism? Would love to read something not dystopian once in a while.
