Met my wife on OKCupid, we have kids now and have been happily married. I thank God for OKC and it's impact on my life. eHarmony told me I was unmatchable and match.c was worthless- I agree with this article reply rate was nil. OKC rep

Right, and now your isp knows how many devices you have, what endpoints each of them connect to and at what time. This is what kills me with v6. Privacy is already a large enough issue, I have no interest in letting my ISP "see" m

As a dyslexic this is not something that would have helped me. Learning "sight words" in normal fonts as a kid trained me to end up reading faster than most people. Even to this day. What messes me up is odd fonts and poor kerning

It takes me more than 120days to staff a mid level software engineering position in my field. When I worked in manufacturing I could hire a darn good welder with NDT experience in 30days. I could staff with a temp who could read and follow

I know of at least two LEO's who took early retirement from larger cities because of the ACAB attitudes. I have one guy who joined our local small town police force because it's what he loves doing. A bit crazy to read this story

Keep in mind this is not published by the NIH and is just from some small fry publisher. Did not really find much in the way of details here.

Going to be honest my company has a gen x CEO, and mostly gen xyz staff. Our awesome boomers did have some trouble adjusting to remote. I am sure is one hell of a shock for a generation to go from using checkbooks and cash with party lines

Do you not set weekly one on one time or just do quick huddle calls to chat on simple projects? My boss and my team is just as buried in the office and full of meetings. So we are going to be talking on teams/slack anyway- not sure abo

On one hand I want to be able to tinker with software... On the other hand if this was a game I liked and people were using hacks to play by ai then it would kinda ruin gameplay. I have never worked in game design so I am unsure what the pr

No friend. It means that policies and standards may be closer to enforcing safety in a retail store for patrons vs a workplace. Will actually be an interesting test to see where the line falls. Regardless of your thoughts on the gig economy
