Great idea. I hate the current system where companies can get access to your bank account and pull money out at will.

Too bad there isn't a great RSS software company. It seems like someone should have created a ubiquitous RSS app. Maybe I should go do that... brb

I always wondered what the fuck was up with those "So and so's net worth will shock you!" ads that I see on Yahoo. Thanks for posting this!

I was expecting something like Medium for WordPress: a feed of the top blog posts from all the blogs on WordPress, a curated aggregator.

Facebook is definitely the most vulnerable. I don't know why everyone puts them in the same class as Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Facebook could easily go the way of AOL Instant Messenger and Myspace. A single person probably couldn&#

You could roll your own blog; that's what I'm doing. I wasn't really satisfied with Medium or WordPress, so I just decided to write my own simple blogging software. Writing the blogging software is probably going to be easier

$20k seems really low for most full time jobs in the United States. The average (median) job in the US pays around $30k. And software development jobs are above average jobs, so those numbers that you posted seem off.

They ought to buy Canonical and build a laptop with a full fledged operating system. Then I won't have to keep choosing between installing linux on crappy Windows machines or buying expensive macs.

I invested in Raven Industries a few years ago. They supply Google[x] with the balloons used for Project Loon. Essentially, I bought RAVN as a bet on Project Loon. So far it's been a pretty wild ride. I rode RAVN down 50%, but the stoc
