That's badass. I didn't know you could do a full linux install on a chromebook. I used to run Ubuntu using crouton but I had to press all these crazy button combinations to boot up in developer mode and then enter some more shell

I believe Google's search engine was originally written in Java if you're looking for an inspiring Java webapp. App engine obviously didn't exist yet though.

Just my opinion, but developing for the web is much easier than building native mobile applications. This is a good thing from my point of view. Native development has some catching up to do in this respect.

Maybe if the community can fix the Bitcoin mining fee problem it will work. But if they can't get the mining fee down to like 30 cents per transaction like with square or stripe, the overwhelming majority of people aren't going to
