Just to be a little pedantic for a second, isn't TigerBeetle a database management system (DBMS) whereas a TigerBeetle database would be actual data and metadata managed by TigerBeetle?

If you use the $1.4k USD laptop for 2 years, that works out to around $2 / day. If it’s a Mac, it probably has some resale value at the end of the time bringing the cost down closer to $1 / day. For a work machine, that’s pretty e

I’ve found that the $1000 Mac laptop is worth about $500 after 3 years and the $500 laptop is worth $50. The price difference over time really isn’t that big and the Mac is going to have a better trackpad and display and longer battery life

I bought an M4 iPad Pro and ended up returning it because I just don't like the magic keyboard. My current iPad is from 2018 and I use the Smart Keyboard Folio and (for me) it's just about perfect. Small, lightweight, not too expe

It will never happen, but I'd love to see the NYT follow up their story and pit some of what Graham says against their cadre of experts and see what parts of the story they agree on and which ones they don't. I would think the peo

They are collecting this data in order to use it for advertising. Google, Meta, and TikTok know a crazy amount about the people they are tracking. There’s no way they don’t know (or couldn’t make a great guess) about the age.
