I'm concerned about two things (that I hope I'm wrong about): (1) developers will overuse generics and use poor types or `any` where not necessary, and (2) this marks the beginning of Go's convergence to yet another language

At $company, this is core to how decisions are made. There's no need to get stuck for an extended period of time on "two-way door" decisions; they can always be reverted. Inversely, decisions that cannot be reverted require d

The point is well-designed contracts don't need many breaking changes in the first place. As a corollary, badly designed software are more likely to require breaking changes. Same applies to badly managed software, where compatibility

Regardless of the "workplace", I think what it really means is an aptitude to be productive despite ambiguity and less-than-ideal conditions. Those skills apply everywhere.

Placebo is such an interesting phenomenon. I had a certain physical pain difficult to describe that I could’ve sworn to have felt, but after addressing my perspective I’ve no longer had any such symptoms. Not sure if related, but I still do

I couldn’t care less whether the spider is dangerous or not. It’s more the erratic, jittery movements of spiders and their multitude of fast legs that’s off-putting. Especially when you’re taking a dump in a dimly-lit outdoor toilet and not

That seems to make sense! I assume the delay between each movement is due to the time it takes for the air to expand again enough to forcefully escape from the side of least resistance (where the counter is ever so slightly higher).
