Hugely popular, in particular at commencement ceremonies. Where the supposed interpretation is to "forge your own path" or some such bullshit, since that is _clearly_ not the message in any interpretation...

David Orr did a talk on NPR that was far less overwrought ( http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/weve-gotten-wrong-robert-fros... ) It got to the point quickly: "DAVID ORR: He claims that he wrote it because he used

I think it was release 2.18, retroactively named R6 maybe. John Walker and I hacked up a p.d. thing called xlisp by David Betz, removing some of the best bits (the 'X' parts) and fitting it into its own 64k 'small model'

Also 55, though didn't start programming until 1978. I love it, but I'm more apprehensive these days about being able to continue as the free-lancer I've been for the last ~15 years. I have a few biz ideas (and still riding

Only half the time? Yes, the author and proponent of this method of driving neglect this point entirely, and that it is clearly more dangerous (for the following drivers) to drive with "broken" brake lights. But perhaps he believe

Go Green indeed! Amazingly enough, I programmed on the same CDC 6500 at MSU in the '70s. By the time I got there, the school had lost its EE credentials, and I was torn between a music degree at MSU and EE somewhere else. Technically,

I’m not sure how much government has ever done to encourage innovation and investment at the local level. If one is a true believer in last-mile natural monopolies, then it is clear that the last mile should either be a) run by local gover
