It would also make sense to compress large strings in memory as it got tight.

I don't want x86 Docker on ARM.

AWS Graviton 2 ARM instances are more cost effective for most server loads. This is a gateway to saving a lot of cloud spend.

You pay roughly 1 NS per foot of light travel. Closer to the CPU means lower worst case speed of light bound latency.

It's even more lopsided. AWS is a short term lending institution, it isn't pay up front.

https://conexus.com/ should get more love. Based off of https://www.categoricaldata.net/ . Ensures that complex transforms are provably correct.

Apple shit when they saw M1 benchmarks and delayed their data center for years to fill it with their own server chips. https://businessrecord.com/Content/Default/All-Latest-News/A...

BOLT just permutes link order? The object permutation from a BOLT run should be good for months until the underlying objects have substantially drifted?

Makes sense at this point to work with Sylvestre Ledru who maintains the Debian llvm-toolchain and rust packages.

Disagree. They have sucked up TSMC's low nm bandwidth. They are becoming the Intel of ARM, and it wouldn't surprise me if they become a hyperscaler as a service.

Trying to get my credit union to allow users to opt in to sell bulk annon checking account transactions to a hedge fund. Having that much point of sale data would be huge.

Hoping Apple takes note and smashes their surplus A12/A13 chips into keyboards with 16G RAM as the new mac ultramini :)

Not much has changed since Nellie Bly. Several are still locked up with no jury trial - just a rubber stamp by a magistrate to whatever the prosecutor asks for - the modern day equivalent being a cut and paste between Word documents.

Matrix vector multiply takes an n string and maps it to a k string via a matrix automata. Matrix matrix multiply maps p strings instead of one. We should be parsing on a GPU. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CYK_algorithm

As long as users know what the extension is doing, hope the extension owners win. Facebook has a choice to boot the users if they don't like them giving credentials to the extension.

WSL2 gave my Windows10 laptop new life. Sound drivers etc just work - WSL2 scales RAM/CPU with your workload. Have Kali Kex gui, AmazonLinux 2 terminal, Ubuntu 20 terminal side by side all doing their thing.

Is there a wireshark config for WSL2 so you can browse traffic? eBPF support in WSL2 sufficent?
