Bitbucket has more traction than you think. Especially in megacorps who use JIRA. As long as the services have a docker container you can run locally I see no lock-in.

Astro Teller of Google X used to do that sort of thing at BodyMedia. It wouldn't surprise me if Google also has some projects in the works.

I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't released a semi-offical Linux distribution for power users showcasing .Net Core and Azure assisted apps. At least a Linux container on par with AWS Lambda.

Good Computerphile episode on understanding what is going inside a neural net, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFdMrDOx_CM . Looking at high information neurons to see what they pick up can yield a lot of insight into the p

Buffett's holdings all see decreased IBM spending on the horizon. Buffet knows IBM will need a massive bond infusion as a life raft. Sell the stock now, lend proceeds back to IBM at 12% interest, and buy the shares back at half price.

You could do automatic differentiation. Take each input, race, sex, age, ... and see how the output changes. If one field has a huge swing it might be a good basis for claiming variable X based discrimination.

It's the US Dept of Education's fault. They won't stop lending money to institutions who trample on student speech the administration disagrees with. U.S. Dept of Education is a blank check.

The U.S. Dept of Energy and NSA are massive Intel buyers. Especially for Intel MIC. They can't sell MIC to China so there is very much a deal in play.
