Wireless Android Auto or Carplay generally use BT to setup but WiFi to send the bulk of the graphical data over. That said, there are adapters to make an existing Android Auto Wireless if you want it. I think some are sold on Amazon too so

I wouldn't be surprised if the bills themselves are marked with specimen or something on the non-visible side. Maybe they're also artificially worn bills produced during bringup or testing.

The more serious issue here is that other sites will use what YouTube is doing as a license to do this. It's happened before. YouTube was instrumental in kicking off the acceptance of killing IE6.
