"search?hl=en" is also needed for the original link, if you are living in e.g. germany. The easter eggs seem to only display on "www.google.com". https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=kerning

I didn't get this error here, however I recieved the exact same error when I used my german "..@googlemail.com" mail address to register on appengine. After changing it to "..@gmail.com" it worked. If you are german, you could try that as w

I did so as well. I was fascinated that such a simple formula could produce an infinitely complex image. To build it, I used Lazarus/Freepascal and Wikipedia. It’s actually still hosted on Google code.
